UNC College scientists are hoping to turn a new $17.5 million federal grant, including stimulus dollars, into renewable solar fuels and green jobs. The award will launch an inter-university research center at UNC to study low-cost and efficient solar fuels production by artificial photosynthesis and producing electricity by next-generation photovoltaics.
