By now you’ve probably heard the news that I will become Chancellor on July 1. I accepted this new responsibility with mixed emotions. My past year as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences has been the most exciting and rewarding professional experience of my life. It gave me the chance to work with so many extraordinary faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
