Four UNC-Chapel Hill faculty members — Patrick Davison, Anthony Hackney, Carissa Hessick and Pamela Lothspeich — have received Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program awards for the 2023-2024 academic year from the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
Recent music graduate Matthew Svec, B.A. 2023, has big plans for next year. This spring, Svec was awarded a Fulbright U.S. Student Program Award to study at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary.
Fourteen students and recent graduates from UNC-Chapel Hill have been selected to receive the Fulbright U.S. Student Program award. This year’s recipients represent graduating seniors to doctoral candidates in multidisciplinary fields, including English, history, public policy and public health.
