A sampling of new faculty in Carolina’s College of Arts and Sciences shows its focus on discovering innovative solutions to the world’s greatest challenges.

These fab five new Tar Heels are among the many talented teachers and researchers who are joining departments within the College of Arts and Sciences this fall.

New faculty members in the College of Arts & Sciences will work across disciplines to study health and wellness in communities of color. In addition, two faculty will focus on issues of U.S. slavery and will work closely with the health and wellness faculty.
