Graduate student Dailihana Alfonesca uses creative writing as a way to understand and express issues of identity and trauma, both those unique to her experience and those shared by other Latina women.

Randall Garrett Kenan, a UNC-Chapel Hill alumnus, master storyteller and professor of creative writing in the department of English and comparative literature, passed away at his home the week of Aug. 24.

Senior Jackie Kenny, majoring in English and minoring in comparative literature and creative writing, displays passion and resilience through her roles as a student and a member of the UNC rowing team.
