Florence Dore, professor in the department of English and comparative literature at UNC-Chapel Hill, reflects on her professorship and simultaneous life as a rock ‘n’ roll musician as well as her approach to the public humanities in this article about her recent sabbatical. She spent the 2022-2023 academic year touring the country to perform and speak at both music and academic venues.
