Bioelectronics meets medicine

Assistant professor Wubin Bai and his team have developed a novel, bioelectronic technology that will improve patients’ lives, helping to safely automate and lower the burden of post-recovery care.

Senior Levi Tox has been a maker since high school. This summer, he used his expertise to create an efficient — and fun — way to get to campus with the help of BeAM.

Meet a Summer Research Fellow: Lily Herbert ‘16

Lily Herbert ’16 is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Geography housed in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s College of Arts and Sciences. Her summer fellowship allowed her to work on her dissertation, centering on hate crime legislation and its geographical ties.
