A flautist in the UNC Marching Band and member of the Tau Beta Sigma Honorary Band Sorority, Ashley Medina plans to major in medical anthropology and wants to become a pediatric surgeon. She also aspires to follow in her father’s footsteps and serve the country as a member of the armed forces.
