Student Body President Lamar Richards named 2021 Presidential Fellow

Lamar Richards, a UNC-Chapel Hill junior and student body president, has been selected as a 2021 Presidential Fellow. Richards is pursuing a public policy major in UNC’s College of Arts & Sciences and a human organizational leadership and development major in the UNC School of Education.

Treating teachers ‘like the scholars they are’

UNC folklorist Glenn Hinson and students provided research that informed the re-enactment this summer of a 1921 Warren County court trial where 16 Black men were unfairly accused after being threatened by a white mob.
